Cooking Classes
Make your downeast Maine vacation a culinary adventure as you learn cooking skills and techniques while exploring the beauty of the downeast Maine coast and Atlantic Canada. Classes are held on a unique 150 acre blueberry farm perched above Passamaquoddy Bay, with 180 degree views of Deer Island and St. Andrews, New Brunswick.
One and two day classes are available from May to September on Monday and Tuesday evenings. See Schedule for day of Opening Celebration and for times for Kids' Culinary Capers (See Schedule for 2008). In order to allow all students full participation in classes, class size is limited to nine.

Special requests are welcomed. If you have a group of six people or more who would like to have a customized cooking program, please let us know.
In addition to kitchen sessions, there will be opportunities for local tours of culinary interest, visits to blueberry growers and specialty organic farms and farmer’s markets. Or climb aboard an Eastport lobster boat and “pull a lobster trap”. Fresh agricultural products have long been available in downeast Maine. Milk, apples, berries, and maple syrup have been produced here for generations and excellent bakers and cottage industries produce delicious breads, desserts, mustards, preserves and sauces.
You can also enjoy many of nearby Eastport’s fine artist’s studios, a tour of St. Andrews, New Brunswick and Roosevelt’s home on Campobello Island. For outdoor enthusiasts, try sea kayaking, sailing, whale watching, deep sea fishing or hiking. Relaxing and enjoying the scenery can be a most pleasant way to spend your time.
