The Ice House Wine and Cheese Shop is completely stocked with wines and cheeses from all over the world and is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Introduction
At Blueberry Point Chefs, you will enhance your cooking skills and expand your repertory of recipes while enjoying the camaraderie of sharing fine food and wine with fellow students in a unique downeast Maine setting. Unlike many programs where students simply observe and listen to the chef, students at Blueberry Point Chefs actually participate in food preparation and then sit down together to enjoy their culinary delights.
The summer long program includes 12 sessions. Classes are held early evenings so that the daytime is available for you to explore the "Downeast Area" and its many different attractions.
Experience recreational cooking as well as regional cooking including local Maine cooking and Canadian cooking specialities such as chowders and fish stews. Learn ways to make food preparation simple and fun; make a meal with hors d’oeuvres. Make the very best Bouillabaisse with fresh local lobster, mussels, clams, haddock, and homemade French bread.
Blueberry Point Chefs is located in the town of Perry, Maine and is on the shores of Passamaquoddy Bay which, in turn, borders several New Brunswick, Canada islands and villages.
